Recent TV & Radio Advertisements

I have heard from a number of donors that they were concerned about some of the media activity featuring the food bank in the last couple of weeks. They had heard and seen a couple of promotional pieces where only Westside Food Bank or only St Mary’s Food Bank was mentioned and the media piece did not use our full new name which is St Mary’s/Westside Food Bank Alliance. Since I had heard from a few folks, I though there were possibly more people who had the same concern. The situation is that advertising campaigns are typically done months in advance of them airing on radio or TV. The ads which folks are hearing now that feature only one of the food banks were created prior to the official merger date. As we move forward with the partnerships with companies who will feature the food bank in their advertisements, the full St Mary’s/Westside Food Bank Alliance name will be used.
